Karen began her
experience working with college students in the field of residence
life in 1986. She has managed residence halls and supervised student
resident staffs. Karen has assisted college students in the public,
private, urban, and liberal arts higher education environments. She
has served in the fields of career development, personal counseling,
academic advising, learning assistance, academic internships, new
student orientation, student activities and organizations,
fraternity and sorority advisement, educational testing, peer
advising, and student leadership development. Karen has served as
faculty for First Year Experience courses and Senior Capstone
seminars. She also is a founding member of the Northeast Ohio
Leadership Association. Karen too, has developed and presented
various workshops to college students, including:
